The Armenian National Film Academy announced via a Facebook post the launch of submissions for the 5th “ANAHIT 2026” National Film Awards.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 16, 2026.
Film submissions will be accepted from February 2 through March 2, 2026 (inclusive). Only films produced during 2024–2025 are eligible for consideration.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
Film Awards
– Best Feature Film
– Best Documentary Film
– Best Short Film
– Best Animated Film
Individual Awards (feature-length fiction films only)
– Best Director
– Best Screenplay
– Best Actor
– Best Actress
– Best Production Design
– Best Music
– Best Sound Design
Individual Awards (feature-length fiction and documentary films)
– Best Cinematography
– Best Editing
Submissions are accepted online via the link provided in the Academy’s post.
Participation requires formal submission of a film for academic consideration within the stated timeframe. For films produced in 2024–2025, this marks the final eligibility window to enter the national awards cycle.
