Initiated by the Armenian Film Industry Development Cultural Foundation, the 9th Yerevan International Short Film Festival will take place in Yerevan on June 25–29, 2026, and has officially opened its call for submissions.
The festival focuses on discovering emerging directors, supporting their professional development, and strengthening creative and professional connections among young filmmakers from different countries. A key objective is to foster a new generation of cinema by helping young creators integrate into contemporary film practices through international exchange.
The program includes national and international competitive sections. In addition to screenings, the festival will host masterclasses, creative meetings, Q&A sessions, presentations, and other professional events.
