The Yerevan Book Festival will be held from July 30 to August 1. The three-day festival will be held on Abovyan Street. Literary events will be held in the Moscow Cinema, combining and strengthening the relationship between cinema and literature. KinoPress has allocated a thematic program. Admission to all events is free.

The film adaptation of “Zulal” by Narine Abgaryan is in the post-production. “Zulali” was covered by the KinoPress from the day of the start of the project.
“Zulali” was filmed by director Hayk Ordyan. The shooting took place in the Tavush region of Armenia.
The event will be attended by director Hayk Ordyan, actress Hermine Stepanyan, translator Narine Gizhlaryan and editor Armen Sargsyan.
Cinema and Literature: Henrik Malyan, Aghasi Ayvazyan

Henrik Malyan and Aghasi Ayvazyan were friends since childhood, then became partners. Despite the fact that they chose different languages of communication with the world – cinema and literature – together they were able to create films based on literary works. The joint work of two great names gave the Armenian cinema masterpieces “Triangle” and “Hayrik”.
Tigran Grigoryan will talk about the rise of Armenian cinema and literature in the 1960s with Narine Malyan, Robert Matosyan, Alis Hovhannisyan, David Matevosyan.
