A cooperation memorandum between the Georgian National Film Center and the Cinema Foundation of Armenia was signed on May 15 at the Georgian national pavilion during the film market of the 79th Cannes International Film Festival, according to the Georgian National Film Center.
The memorandum aims to deepen cooperation between the two countries in the field of cinema. It includes the development of joint projects and programmes, as well as the exchange of experience in film production.


The document was signed by Mamuka Bliadze, Director of the Georgian National Film Center, and Davit Banuchyan, Director of the Cinema Foundation of Armenia.
According to the information presented, the cooperation may cover several areas, including film co-production, festival-related collaboration, educational projects and other professional initiatives.
Both sides described the signing of the memorandum as an important step toward strengthening film ties between Georgia and Armenia. The initiative is expected to create new opportunities for producers and directors from both countries to work together and build closer professional connections.
